Alphacool Eiszapfen PRO HardTube Fittings
The new Eiszapfen PRO HardTube fittings from Alphacool are a further development of the well-known Eiszapfen fittings. Alphacool focused on addressing a common problem during the development: the deformation of PETG HardTubes at high temperatures. These tubes can begin to deform at temperatures as low as 60°C, although such temperatures are rare. The Eiszapfen PRO fittings prevent this issue from the start, holding the tubes securely in place.
Innovative Design
The new nylon inserts inside the fittings prevent deformation and stabilize the hard tubes. The fitting still features an O-ring and a compression seal, but with a significantly larger contact surface compared to normal O-rings, ensuring a more secure hold. Both the insert and the compression seal strengthen the tube from the inside and outside, offering enhanced durability.
Strength and Stability
The HardTube remains securely in place even under higher loads. Alphacool has tested the tensile strength of the fitting to hold up to 8kg, ensuring a robust and reliable connection without worry.
